Construction Stakeholders
Please find attached a copy of the Construction Sector Council (CSC) National Construction Looking Forward Summary: 2010 - 2018. The CSC compiles reports for each province following consultations with industry leaders, as well as governments and educational institutions. This national summary brings together the findings and highlights from provincial and regional Construction Looking Forward reports. It analyzes the employment requirements, available workforce, training and certification programs, replacement demand related to retirements, workforce mobility and market rankings for 33 trades and occupations in 14 regional markets over the next nine years. The national and regional scenario-based forecasts are released annually. The full national report can be viewed and downloaded from the CSC website: www.csc-ca.org. In addition, all scenario-based forecast data is available at www.constructionforecasts.ca.
